We live in Northern Marshal County in Chapel Hil, TN.   We are raising Myotonic goats on 100 acres of land. The does currently run on 15 acres of woods and scrub.  The bucks run on 5 acres of woods and scrub.   I started raising goats in 2002 and are starting our new venture into Tennessee Myotonic goats in 2009. We felt on our new farm we needed more goats to help keep our woods cleaned out so we chose to add the fainting goats for their gentle nature.

All our babies here at Ridge View Farm will be dam raised unless medically needed. We feel that the bond formed between a Dam and her kids is formed in the womb and to remove the kids from their dam is very stressful.  I enjoy watching the love between a dam and her kids and feel that the dam teaches her kids alot and gives them the security they need to grow strong and secure.   Moms milk is needed to build a good immune system and great muscle tone. Our babies are played with daily to insure human interest in them. Anyone coming into the barn is greeted quickly by my goats.   Come give us a visit and you will likely fall in love with our goats.
